The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild offers an expansive world filled with unique challenges that test both your ingenuity and precision. Among these, the Mirro Shaz Shrine stands out as a memorable test of physics and timing using the Stasis rune capability. Mastering this trial requires a solid grasp of how kinetic force transfers to objects within the game mechanics.

Mirro Shaz Shrine Location

Finding this particular shrine is relatively simple if you know where to look in the vast kingdom of Hyrule. The Mirro Shaz Shrine is located in the Woodland Region, positioned just north of the Woodland Stable. Players can easily spot its glowing structure by warping to the nearby stable and heading slightly northeast into the marshy terrain.

Arriving at this location provides an excellent fast travel point for future exploration near the Great Hyrule Forest. The surrounding area is generally safe, making it an accessible puzzle destination for players early in their adventure.

Solving the Primary Stasis Puzzle

Upon entering the shrine, you will be greeted by the trial subtitle, Tempered Power. The main room features an iron orb, a massive hammer weapon, and a distant target switch across a wide fence. To progress, you must equip the provided sledgehammer and cast your Stasis rune directly onto the metallic ball.

Once the orb is frozen in time, hit it exactly five times with the heavy sledgehammer to build maximum kinetic energy. Make sure your directional arrow points straight toward the distant platform before the timer expires. If done correctly, the expanding energy will launch the sphere directly into the socket to open the gate.

Unlocking the Optional Treasure Chest

Beyond the primary chamber lies a secondary puzzle room that offers a much tougher challenge for an extra reward. Here, you will find another orb and a twisting pathway leading toward a shifting target platform. This bonus objective requires extreme precision to navigate the obstacles safely.

For this advanced task, cast Stasis on the sphere and strike it five times with your sledgehammer, followed by one final hit with a lighter one-handed weapon to adjust the trajectory force perfectly. Successfully landing the orb in this distant hole unlocks a chest containing a valuable Giant Ancient Core.
